Jacob Richard, Editor
Jacob Richard, a captain on the court, is looking forward to following in his father’s footsteps.
Q: Why did you choose Journalism?
A: My dad is head of communications at Marist with a degree in journalism. He tells me all of his stories about his internships at places like Time Magazine and I think I might want to follow in his footsteps.
Q: What aspects of journalism appeal to you?
A: I like meeting new people and hearing their side of the story. Hearing what actually happened from their perspective and not just a secondary source is more engaging.
Q: What do you want to write about?
A: Current events are interesting, but I actually want to write less and do more broadcasting. A dream of mine is to be a news reporter.
