James Birbara, a senior tennis captain and cross country runner, plans to report on sports and events happening around Hall.
Q: Who is your hero?
A: [British Formula One driver] Lewis Hamilton. I just think he is really inspiring, he gives back to the community a lot, and he made it big coming from little to no background.
Q: What do you want to report for the Hall Record?
A: I feel like it’d be interesting to report on sports that are happening around the school and what’s going on. Particularly spring sports.
Q: What is more important: getting the truth out or worrying about hurting other people’s feelings? And why do you think so?
A: if I had a journalism job, it would be getting the truth out, but where I stand now, I feel like people’s feelings are more important. I still want to report on things truthfully.
