Jennifer Carlos-Mayen a senior at Hall High School who wants to make her parents proud. She is a very determined person who can carry that into this journalism class. She wants to make her parents proud by attending a good college.
Q: Where are you from, and do you think you carry traits from this area?
A: “I was born in Guatemala and my dad is half Peruvian. I consider myself half from Guatemala and Peru. I was born in Guatemala I have the language and background.”
Q: What is your favorite song and why?
A: “So for songs I don’t have favorite ones, I like the beat of certain songs or the story behind it so that’s a hard question.”
Q: Do you play any sports? If so which ones?
A: “I did cheerleading for 2 years I decided to stop, so I could try out new things.”
Q: What’s one goal you want to complete before the school year ends and one you want to complete by the end of college?
A: “I just want to complete one goal I’ve always had which is to make my parents proud and to graduate with an accounting degree.”
