Julia Hartzog, Writer
As a new aspiring journalist coming to HallRecord in the spring of 2019, Julia Kathryn Hartzog is a writer for the people. She decided to write for Hall Record because she loves the editor in chief, Ms. Fransen and believes her readers deserve to know the truth about the current events that impact our daily lives.
A karate student when not at school, Julia will most likely be found at Villari’s Martial Arts Studios where she is a third-degree black belt who also teaches younger students. “I definitely would say that karate takes up all my time I’m there almost every day of the week,” She explains. As a certified instructor with 13 years of experience, Julia has spent most of her life learning and now teaching the morals and skills of karate to her students.
Following her graduation in the spring, Julia plans to go to college in Florida far away from the bone-chilling winters of New England. She hopes to build a career teaching karate wherever she gets the chance.
