Matt Bonner, a senior at Hall who grew up surrounded by journalism and involved in sports, looks forward to writing about his interests.

Q:What do you like to do outside of school?
A: Outside of school, I like to play a lot of sports, hanging out with friends. I play 3 sports for Hall, I play hockey, golf, and lacrosse. Outside of that, I like to work, I work at Rockledge golf club.

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
A: I think my mom’s my biggest inspiration. She grew up in a small town, and she became an ESPN reporter. So she knew a lot about journalism, she majored in it. I’ve always looked up to my mom.

Q; What do you want to write about and why?
A: I want to write about what interests me: sports, or politics. It doesn’t really matter, anything that interests me.

Q: What is your favorite place, and how does that space make you feel?

A: My favorite place is Boston, MA. My whole family’s from Boston, so it just makes e feel excited, especially because I’m going to school up in Boston.
