Matt Goldfarb is 17 years old and was born on May 9th 2002 in Hartford. Matt is 1/16 German, which comes from his mom’s side. His last name comes from the German word for gold. He also has ancestors from England.
Matt took this class because he thinks journalism is very important and he likes his voice be heard about certain topics. He will succeed by “doing well, not getting stressed, ask for help when needed and fit in extracurricular activities”. He also has a friend who says “just don’t worry about it” to reassure him.
Someone he looks up to his peers and close friends because they encourage him to do better. He also looks up to people who have inspirational quotes such as Micheal Jordan saying “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen”, quotes like this help him try hard in whatever he does.
There are several things he does outside of the classroom such as being an empty bowls leader for the 2nd year in a row, Chem for Kids, and STEM club. He is also a thrower on the track and field team for shot put and discus. There are also several hobbies he enjoys such as playing guitar, drums, and piano. He also loves to play his Nintendo Wii in his free time.
His after High School plans are to hopefully attend Stevens Institute of Technology located in New Jersey. His dream is to become a chemical or mechanical engineer. He has a love for math and takes very prestigious math courses such as AP calculus.
Although he has a kind-hearted personality, he is often quiet and chill.
