My definition of journalism- The process of research, writing, and publication in the interest of spreading information for the public good. I am taking journalism because journalists perform a public service. Journalists act as a check on the institutions of power in our society. My greatest hope for this class is to achieve ultimate journalist status and get hired by the New York Times, directly out of high school.
