Santi Vasquez sharing his thoughts about journalism, his role models, and where he would love to report.
Q: If you had to report in one place in the world, where would you go?
A: “I think I would go to Paris because I feel like it has a lot going on and it’s a nice place to go and visit.”
Q: Who is your role model?
A: “My mom, because she works hard and someone I inspire to be like. I would like to have the same qualities as her growing up.”
Q: How do you think the media influenced the US today?
A: “I think the media has a very large influence, for example, the elections. Where people are only being exposed to commercials and news sources like CNN and Fox.”
Q: What made you want to take journalism this year?
A: “I thought it was pretty important to know how to, you know, talk to people; to be able to interview them.”
