I am a senior here at Hall High School who has a fascination with journalism. My fascination with journalism began in 9th grade when my English class did a unit on photojournalism. I became even more intrigued by it due to this past year's election when President Trump constantly criticized journalists and the news media in general. Journalism is a great outlet for sharing one's opinion on current affairs. I think journalism is a crucial part to an effective democracy, for it allows for freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Aside from my captivation with journalism, I enjoy photography and napping. I am also on the outdoor track and field team. This will be my fourth year on the team.
