Will didn’t know much about journalism before joining the class, but he new that we would learn about current events and he enjoyed that he would have the opportunity to share this information with others through his writing.
Why did you take journalism? - I have an interest in current events and this class is a good chance to write about them. I am interested in current events that have to do with modern war. I am very interested in the war in Ukraine, so I think journalism will let me express my feelings about this.
What are you doing after high school? - I’m going to go to college and I want to major in history or political science since I enjoy talking about and learning about current and past events.
What is your favorite class? - I really enjoy journalism because it gives me a chance to research current events and learn more about them, it also allows me to share this information with other students.
What do you think you want to do when you are older, and how can journalism help you with that? - I guess I would like to be a journalist so journalism helps with that because it will give me experience with the writing style and learning how to research events to write about.
