Zoe has been a resident in West Hartford for six years, explaining, “She moved to West Hartford for sixth grade” and was very satisfied with the move. West Hartford has had a huge impact on her life, “having met very nice people and have had a great experience.” Before relocating to West Hartford, Zoe and her sister lived in Mount Vernon, New York and were born in Manhattan, New York.
Currently enrolled in Journalism at Hall High School, the class teaches her real-life experiences, communication, and improvement in writing. When asked the reasoning behind taking Journalism she, “wanted to experience writing about real-world issues, interviewing skills, and knowledge and awareness out of this class.”
While pursuing Journalism, Zoe plays the piano, sings, plays tennis and participates in after school clubs. During school, she is engaged in Hall High School's singing group, Voce, and plays the piano outside of school. “To do things for yourself, and not for others,” a quote from her dad that motivates Zoe through the various activities and academics she juggles.
