Q: What is a writing piece that you are most proud of and why?
A: Honestly, I’m most proud of my college essay, because I wrote it about my hair and I connected it to my mom. I never thought I would end up writing kind of about my mom or my hair as my essay. It ended up being really good and I really liked it.
Q: What is your earliest memory of enjoying writing?
A: I did a creative writing camp when I was in Middle School. And I know spending your summer doing an educational Camp is so weird, but I really liked the creative writing camp and I think that made me like writing too. I don’t like the whole grammar side of it but I like actually writing.
Q: What kind of writing do you most enjoy?
A: I think creative writing. I think I like creative writing the most because I don’t like so much interviewing people and writing those kinds of pieces so you have to be so careful with that. I also like going where my mind takes me.
Q: What do you do outside of school?
A: Right now a lot of college apps. But I also play tennis, I do a little bit of piano on the side when I can. I hang out with my family, listen to a lot of music a lot of music go shopping, eat great food, and out with my friends!
