Carlos Patron
Carlos is a senior, student-athlete at Hall High School who plans on pursuing his interest in computer engineering in college.
What hobbies do you have outside of school?
I’ve continued to play soccer for the past couple years and recently, I’ve started to lift a lot more consistently.
What are your plans for after High School and if that includes college, do you have a top college?
I’m probably going to college to study computer engineering. Manhattan College is currently my top choice but I’m a little nervous because it’s a really expensive school and location.
Why did you choose to take journalism?
it was something I had never done before and I wanted to try something new to improve my writing skills because writing has never been one of my strongest subjects.
What topics are interested in or planning on writing about and why?
I’m honestly really excited to learn a little about everything. I’ve joined this class with a really open mind and I'm excited to learn what it has to offer.
Why do you think journalism is important?
I think journalism is important because there is a lot of fake news going on right now and I just want to be able to distinguish between what’s real and what’s fake.
