Cooper Griffin, a multi-sport student-athlete at Hall High School, is a dedicated writer who engages in the important aspects of journalism. Through his writing, he hopes to inspire others who don’t use their voice.
What is your favorite topic to write about?
My favorite topic to write about is personal stories and what they mean. I think it is important that we hear stories about individual points of view and experiences so that we refrain from sticking to our own.
Do you have lots of writing experience, and if you have what is your best work?
I don’t have an insane amount of writing experience. I obviously wrote many stories throughout K-12, but I'd say that the writing I did in History of Modern Warfare was my best. The topics were always about real life and therefore engaging.
Okay, what made you want to take this class?
I was interested in learning about the world and what’s going on, and writing about it. I think it is important to pay attention to what's going on in the world and focus on things that matter that geo-politics, money matters, and sports.
