Ethan is a driven senior at Hall high school, he is looking forward to improving his reporting throughout the course and has many topics he is interesting in writing about.
Q) Why did you take this particular course?
A) Journalism is all around us, with the news and social media so it's important to understand the ins and outs of it.
Q) How does journalism impact our society?
A) Journalism is the way everyone gets their information, so you can really be swayed by certain biases.
Q) What are you excited to learn or improve during this course?
A)Factual writing, I had taken creative writing in the first semester and I feel like in general we focus on creative writing more in our english classes at Hall.
Q) What topic are you most excited to explore?
A) The growing homelessness problem, I feel as if the news isn’t talking about it much and they are more focused on topics like the election...it's an important issue that impacts people in our society.
