Evan Jones, 18, is a senior at Hall High School. He plans to attend College of the Holy Cross in the fall as a part of their prestigious soccer program.

Q: What would you say is your best achievement from your time at Hall?

A: Winning a state championship in 2019, and making all-American.

Q: What was that like?

A: It was very satisfying to see all my hard work pay off. It was nice to be able to share this moment with all my friends and teammates.  

Q: What makes you interested in journalism?

A: I believe that journalism will help improve on my writing and listening skills, and will make me a much better English student.

Q: By being an editor of the Hall record how will you make a positive impact in the community?

A: I will write articles about important matters in the community that people are passionate about, as well as keep my fellow students informed. 

Q: If you could interview one person who would it be and why?

A: Probably Mike Tyson. I don’t know much about him and it seems like he’s lived a very interesting life.
