Lisa Hoang is a senior at Hall High School. Lisa is interesting in improving her writing skills and exploring deeper in the world of journalism.

“first question, why did you take journalism?”

“I wanted to take journalism because I wanted to improve my writing skills as I struggle with that practically…”

“what are your plans for after highschool?”

“Maybe get a job over the summer, go to college and then, maybe going to a PA school. Hopefully I can get in”

“what kind of life do you hope to live for 10 years from now”

“Hopefully, I’m in a job I really love doing. And, maybe hopefully I get a pet animal like a snake or a cat. I just like to live a very fulfilling life and enjoying life”

“If you had to choose a topic to write about, what would be your number one topic? One topic that intrigues you the most?”

“I’ll just list them off….how much sleep students and teachers were getting, how sitting down for a long period of time can be very damaging…”

“Alright, in the beginning of the pandemic, what was your number one thing to do, to pass time?”

I had a lot of freetime back then. I would watch these youtube videos of a therapist analyzing reality shows while eating, and it was great. And I would study for the SAT back then, and once a week I would draw or paint in my sketchbook”

“Okay, last question, what inspires you the most?”

“What inspires me the most is either Art or witnessing other people's accomplishments”
