Mariana Betancourt, Author
Mariana Betancourt is a 17-year-old senior at Hall, who’s birthday is June 4, 2001. She was born in Hartford Hospital and currently lives with her dad and grandma in West Hartford. Mariana also included that her mom lives in Miami, Florida.
Mariana’s biggest accomplishment so far in her life was getting accepted to Florida International University, which she will be attending in the fall. Prior to Journalism, Mariana did not have any interest in journalism, but now that she is taking it, she would like to learn more about people through interviewing.
When asked how she likes to spend her free time, her response included, “chill with my friends or go to the gym.” Looking ahead, Mariana has no plans of continuing journalism at F.I.U.
