Parth Sampat is an active senior who runs on the Hall cross country and track team and enjoys watching sports. Parth is uncertain about what he wants to write about, but he is excited to learn a new perspective on journalism.
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I was born in Chicago Illinois and lived there for seven years. I moved here (West Hartford) around 1st grade, and I have been here ever since.
Q: What is something you’re passionate about?
A: I like watching sports like football and basketball, my favorite team is the Broncos.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: I’m going to college most likely, I am planning on majoring in some sort of engineering or maybe computer science.
Q: Why did you take Journalism?
A: I took Journalism because it is a neat perspective. Journalism is not your standard English course, you get to learn about newspapers and learn how to write them.
