What things do you like to do in your free time?
- There are many different things I like to do in my free time. I like to play videogames, I like to focus on politics and read news, and I also like to write a lot.
What motivates you?
- There are different factors as to what motivates me. I think progressing more in life and being a senior in high school is what motivates me. That and trying to keep my grades up, as well.
What do you like to write about?
- I like to write about fictional stories. Nonfiction requires a lot of research. But, fiction stories are pretty cool because it’s things you can just come up with off the top of your head, and you can put a story together. I think that it’s pretty cool to see what your imagination is capable of.
Why did you choose to take journalism?
- I chose to take journalism because my own father works at the Capital for the editorial section and he also works alongside the Governor with doing press conferences. I think that’d be pretty cool, although I’m interested in automobiles, if it were a secondary career to, somewhat, follow in his footsteps.
What are you looking forward to in journalism?
- I’m looking forward to talking with a lot of staff in the school about possible news articles that we’ll be writing about, like talking with principals, faculty members, and students about possible rule changes and getting their opinion on it.
