Da'Jaun, a motivated and outgoing student at Hall, shares his excitement for journalism this year.

 

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A: Typically, I tend to play sports and at times video games. Trying to keep me busy.

Q: Why did you decide to take journalism this year?
A: When given the option to choose classes last year, journalism seemed like a very interesting and different class.

Q: What are you excited about most for journalism this year?
A: I am excited to write and discuss topics that are occurring around our community.

Q: What topic(s) do you look forward to writing about?
A: I'm looking forward to writing about the CIAC decision on canceling the 20-21 football season; being a football player, it was very heartbreaking hearing the news about my senior season being taken away. Additionally, write and discuss topics that are occurring around our community.

Q: What do you hope to get out of taking this course?
A: Generally, hoping to be able to take in a new and better curriculum of writing and speaking.

Q: What are some characteristics/interests you have that could help you in journalism?
A: Being an extrovert, I feel like it will be easier to talk and communicate with people about my writing and opinions.

Q: Do you plan on using journalism in your future?
A: No, I'm planning on majoring in sports management, but I feel like taking journalism will help me with interviews in the future.
