You might think our generation is all about finding the perfect photo or moment for social media, but these moments exist in a world removed from technology. Nature has been thrown to the side instead of being the center of our lives, but these photos prove we still live in nature. Each of these photos was taken in places that you would never expect to find a photo: in a parking lot, at the top of a mountain, and at an oyster bed beach. These places, that many people would never think to go, capture the beauty of nature and the ambition to travel. Many times that is where photos like these three come from. We see a moment we don’t want to forget and we take the photo. Still, it doesn’t capture the whole scene because nature is ever changing and won’t always look the same. But, technology allows us to preserve it.

Capturing Nature
Taken in Peru, Vermont. It was taken in a parking lot next to a ski resort in the middle of summer. There is a view of Magic Mountain in the background.
Taken at an elevation of 10,623 feet at Mount Titlis. This photo was taken in the middle of summer. Also because it was so cool that you could still see snow.
