I have heard a lot of misconceptions about generation z that I find to be very untrue. I hear from older generations that they were the greatest, and that kids and teens alike have deteriorated with their all-day internet use.
I found the argument that teens and young adults in this century all involved into their mobile devices, and worrying about their Instagram likes all day is absurd and an oversimplification of what we really are. It is normal and even frequent for people of my generation to be dedicated to something that is way beyond the scope brought upon us.
I would like to prove to the world that being a teenager in generation z doesn’t mean we are too busy being absorbed in our phones. It instead can be a number of interests. For example, a huge part of my life as a gen z’er myself is my dog, Murphy. With these photos, I will show the grown-ups of this day and age how I raised this giant from the ground up.
