Covid-19 Deprives Hall Students of Social Interaction

Covid-19 has impacted everybody in a large way. Many people have fallen into hard times but one group often overlooked is student’s. Hall High School, once packed with noise and widespread socialization has become more of a military like strict school format. Pre covid, you could find students in groups all around the school whether it was the library, cafeteria, outside, or just anywhere around the hallways. Now,  there is limitations and rules that have diminished the fun aspect of school and makes it hard for students to get excited for school. Lunch is no longer a period at school, instead it is grab and go. The library has limitations that doesn’t allow collaboration and it is no longer a place of socialization. Large crowds are never seen anymore as well and school has now become more of a chore rather than something to look forward to. The new, more strict format of school makes it easier to appreciate what students once experienced. Hopefully soon students at hall can experience what a fun, and exciting school climate is like.
