The Struggle for Parking Spots
The Hall High School student parking lot does not have enough spaces for the amount of students that are required to use the lot. Often, students have to drive around aimlessly, searching for a spot that often doesn’t come. Some students have resorted to parking in illegal spots. This easily leads to a ticket or a fine, something that most families cannot afford. The lack of parking also forces students to park further away from the school, leaving them prone to tardiness. So, this situation directly affects student’s education. Although this seems like an easy problem to solve, administration has failed to take any action. Constant complaints and displays of student frustration receive a blind eye as teachers and faculty easily slip in and out of their parking lot with no problem. The consequences of this faulty parking system clearly display themselves yet nothing has, or seems to be changing.
