Abigail Gunraj is an 18 year old senior at Hall High school. Abby was born in Guyana, South America and moved to the United States in 2012. Her hobbies include cooking, being social with friends, attending the Asian Cultural Club, and occasionally doing nothing. Abby is interested in attending college and is working hard to ensure this goal happens. In the future, Abby is interested in becoming a teacher and looking to further expand her knowledge of teaching in college. When asked what she feels is the most important thing in her life her response was “a happy and healthy relationship with her family.”
When it comes to journalism Abby has a skill set that will help her succeed. She has always enjoyed writing, especially with the option of writing about a topic of her choosing. She is interested in building her skill of analyzing media sources and being able to a strong source from a biased and subjective source, when asked about to expand her response was “I feel it’s important to use good sources because I would like to give my audience correct information on the topic so people curious and possibly confused on the topic have a good understanding on the topic.” Abby is a nice happy, dedicated and helpful person whose personality will assist her in becoming a quality and successful writer.
