Mira Mohler is a 17-year-old senior at Hall High School. Others would describe her as open-minded, kind, and sassy. She was born on March 1, 2002, in Hartford, Connecticut. In her free time she enjoys drawing, writing and music. In addition, some sports she plays are basketball, soccer, and track. Mira chose to take journalism because she grew up in a predominantly white neighborhood due to the fact she was adopted and didn’t know much outside of that. She hopes to gain more knowledge about current events and improve her writing.

Mira plans to attend college out of state and major in Criminal Justice. She is also being recruited to a few schools to participate in track. Some colleges she is interested in include Hampton University and University of Connecticut, but when asked about the future she stated she is “unsure of the future, the future scares me and I just wants to live in the present.”

Someone she looks up to is her oldest sister because they are very close and her sister has helped her through rough times. Mira would describe her as her guardian angel and role model. She hasn’t always lived in Connecticut.  When she was in kindergarten her family moved to Spain and lived in Salamanca, Madrid, and Barcelona in the span of four months. They moved back to West Hartford, Connecticut for Mira to attend first grade and she currently resides there.
