Addison O'Connell is a 17 year old senior at Hall High school, passionate about field hockey, as the schools captain and goalie. She plans on addressing what really goes on within the walls of Hall High.
Q: What is something that you are passionate about?
A: I am really passionate about the sport of field hockey, it is something that I am going into college for, and I also really enjoy art.
Q: How would the people around you describe you?
A: That's a good question, they would describe me as passionate, very loud, and I mean I think im pretty funny, I think my friends would describe me as funny.. I'm very unique, but in a fun way.
Q: Why did you register for this course?
A: Honest answer is that I needed an English credit to graduate but I also really.. I mean I really do love writing, and the idea of journalism and going outside of my comfort zone. I really don’t love news and those uncomfortable conversations, so I think it'll be good for me to actually really engross myself in our society.
Q: What topics do you plan on writing about?
A: Seeing other schools on social media and things like that, I think I have a really good idea of what's positive for a school and what's not. So I think writing about those impacts and behind the scenes of what actually goes on.
