Daniele Barbosa is a new editor at Hallrecord, bringing her creative background to artfully handle hard topics.
Q: “So, why are you taking this class?”
A: “I thought it was interesting and I needed an English course.”
Q: “What other classes are you taking?”
A: “Oh, I’m taking acting and guitar as electives. I did acting when I was a freshman and sophomore. Also, I’m taking guitar because my siblings do music so I thought it’d be interesting for me to try.”
Q: “So, what are your post-secondary plans? Are you going to college, trade school?”
A: “I want to go to college, and then maybe university, but if I go to college I want to do cosmetics.”
Q: “That’ll definitely be fun, it’s a creative career, you’re a creative person, so it’ll definitely be good for you. What kind of articles are you planning to write for the Hallrecord?”
A: “I was thinking either abortion or feminism because there’s a lot of things that people talk about, and also Covid.”
Q: “Is there anything else that the Hallrecord should know about you? Anything super important that we haven’t talked about so far?”
A: “I mean, some people know this but I’m from Brazil, so I do speak another language and I can bring a different perspective to the paper.”
