Sarah Tangarife, age 17 was born in Hartford CT. She then moved to West Hartford. Sarah is interested in journalism because she is able to write about herself, others experiences and to better understand the world around her. After high school Sarah plans to attend MCC for two years since she can save money that way before transferring to continue on her path to become a social worker.
When Sarah was asked to describe herself, she states that she is someone who is “friendly, positive and pretty.” Sarah is most proud of her accomplishments in school with “getting my work done when I need to and staying focused.” Recently Sarah is proud of doing well on her midterms, which connects to her accomplishment of staying focused. Sarah hopes to achieve her goals going forward in the future.
