It’s a dark summer night on my trip to New York city, the feeling of wherry has risen in my body as I began driving into unfamiliar territory. Looking down to check on my trusty iPhone that I had charged an hour prior, I am taken back as I see there is no life in sight.

Apple iPhone batteries have been plagued by the tech company for the past 4 years, ranging from the 6s model to earlier phones.

A strategic tactic set forth by the tech company, in a sneaky effort to make people believe they need a completely new upgraded phone as a solution.

Senior, Jack Brockway, a passionate iPhone user stated, “I want them to fix this so I actually know how much battery I have left.” After being asked his take on this new found information.

Courteous efforts by Apple now enable iPhone users eligible for a new battery, to purchase discounted ones through the Apple Store for $29 dollars, instead of the common $79, in an effort to save the business of loyal customers for the future.

The battery depletion has grown into an epidemic, with the millions of frustrated Apple customers losing trust in the company for hiding the complete truth from them, are simply seeking satisfaction.

According to USA Today reporter, Edward C, Baig, “If you have the newer iPhone 8, 8 plus or X models, a more advanced power management system is in place.”

Bryan Renker, an iPhone 8 Plus user has this to say, “Some days I forget to charge my phone from the night prior and still have battery throughout the day. Apple has certainly upped their game from my previous iPhone 6.”

Although the newer technology is primed in the direction of perfection according to Apple, customers that spent hundreds of dollars are still in the hole with their poor battery quality.
